Swiss Medical Care introduces the CT Exprés III at the RSNA

Swiss Medical Care is proud to announce and present its novel “CT Exprés III Syringe-less Contrast Media Delivery System” at the RSNA in Chicago.

The CT Exprés III is a result of latest innovation in Contrast Media delivery, offering a continuous delivery system of Contrast Media for multiple consecutive patients. The CT Expres III is equipped with two bottles of up to 500 ml of Contrast Media each, plus one Saline bag of up to 3 litres to perform injection on multiple patients without need for unnecessary preparation time and concern about available volume. The CT Expres III is the only “syringe less” injector available in the US, with multi-dose capability.

The CT Exprés III is conceived to simplify most of the manipulations needed for each patient, while addressing important safety and aseptic requirements through a novel High Performance disposable Patient Cassette system. The CT Exprés III is intended to be compatible with all brands of Contrast Media and can be used as well for CT Angiography as for conventional CT examinations.

The CT Exprés received the Medical Device Excellence Award in New York in 2004 and the Swiss Technology Award in 2005 in recognition for the highly innovative technology offered by the CT Expres product developed in Switzerland and commercialized worldwide by Swiss Medical Care.
